We've been writing Pantomime Scripts for more than fifty years. Despite that, we remained good friends. Residents of Edinburgh, Scotland, we were both active in local amateur theatre. You name it, we've done it. Acting, Directing, Staging, Prompting, Commitee-ing, not to mention making the tea. Between us, we've been involved in hundreds of productions and have hopefully instilled some of that invaluable experience into our Panto writing. Yes, we've both played Dame and Villain. Our first collaborative effort was Little Bo Peep back in 1972. Since then we created another eighteen Pantos.
Sadly, Alistair died before his time at the age of 71 on the 31st of August 2024 from a heart attack. He will be sorely missed, but has left us with many happy memories.
AA Pantos will continue. Scripts will be updated and be available from this web site. However, additions to our catalogue will be unlikely.
Alistair added three of his own scripts that don't come under the category of Pantomime. Two are still very suitable as seasonal entertainment and the other is his new version of a popular Melodrama
